Bill grew up moving around the West, living in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and California, graduating from the University of Southern California in 1968. He also obtained his Private Pilot Certificate in 1968 and continued on to obtain his Instrument, Commercial, Multiengine Airplane, CFI, CFII, and ATP ratings and certificates. He has been a full time professional Corporate Pilot and major Airline Captain. He has built and operates a Van RV7A, flying out of his home at Thompson Field.
